Can public sector use open source to better collaborate on common IT challenges? This session will outline some of practices that can be used by government agencies to share code and help lower overall costs of application development. Creating new open source projects, or contributing to existing ones ensure public sector institutions can control their own technology priorities and better incorporate code successfully used in fellow agencies.
